the DOTS are a Massachusetts based acoustic group who perform cover songs from todays hits to the classics, songs that promote goodtimes and happy people. The lineup can range from solo - duo - trio - or full band. the DOTS are a trio made up of Dave(Vocals/Guitar), Greg "Skip" (Guitar/Keys), and Rob D (drums). Dave and Greg have been playing together in bands for 15 years and as the DOTS for the last 10! Rob began playing with the DOTS in FEB 2001 on a hand percussion set and after 2 years his mits were left beaten and brusied. He took off 2 years and was replaced with Lowell Rocker Tom Sperounis...Rob rejoined the DOTS in Mid-2006 and is playing the full drum kit. Tommy boy now plays in the rock group Shuvelhead! the DOTS have played everywhere from college fraternity parties, countless bars across New England (see below for a sample list), the parking lots outside of Gillette Stadium before Patriot football games, to Stan's annual backyard Pig Roast in the deep woods of New Hampshire! the DOTS have performed in front of crowds as large as 1,500 at the City of Lowell's Winterfest 2003/04/05/06, to as intimate as 10 people in a tiny living room for our friend Keith's mother in laws 60th birthday party. We are able to handle all of these situations due to the variety and depth of our song list which we continue to grow and refine. Currently,
the DOTS are the house Friday night band at the Old Court in Lowell
(Mar 2001 - 2007) and the Thursday Night Summertime group at the
Wine Cellar in Fitchburg (Summer 2006/2007). The following list is a sampling of places that the DOTS have held regular shows at over the years:
